The theme for World AIDS Day

History

   The Division of Parañaque City has two Public National High School, the PNHS and the Dr. Arcadio Santos National High School. The PNHS has four annexes while the  Dr. Arcadio Santos High School has one. Three of the four annexes of PNHS are located in Baclaran, La Huerta and Don Galo while the other one is within the campus of the another school, PSHS.

    In line with thrust of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports in 1994 to encourage to pursue science, engineering and technological courses and then the Parañaque Municipal to offer quality education to poor but exceptionally bright student resident, Parañaque Science High School now called Parañaque Science High School (Parañaque National High School Annex) has been created through Parañaque Municipal Council Ordinance No. 9431, s. 1994 n February 1, 1994.

 

 Mission

   Parañaque Science High School (PNHS Annex) is a leader school in a research and development producing graduates who are inventive; innovative; patriotic; mindful of humanity; ecologically aware; godly and capable of self- development to meet demands of the rapidly changing world.

   It is envisioned that Parañaque Science High School (PNHS Annex) shall have:

1. An independent site with adequate and  fully equipped buildings with modern facilities, equipment, and materials in a secure, orderly, attractive and healthy learning environment

2. Empowered students who are inventive, innovative and competent in learning how to learn and have life skills, are God- loving and nationalistic and who care for society and the environment;

3. Highly qualified teachers committed to service models of desirable values, and with capabilities.

4. Continuous research program essential for national development and progress

5. Instructional or materials development with emphasis on investigator- like research.

 

Vision

      It is envisioned that PSHS shall have:

1. An independent site with adequate and fully equipped building with modern facilities, equipments, and materials in a secure, orderly, attractive, and healthy learning environment.

2. empowered students who are inventive, innovative, and competent in learning how to learn and have life skills. are God loving and nationalistic and who care for society and the environment.

3. highly qualified teachers committed to service, models of desirable values, and with capabilities.

4. continuous research programs essential for national development and progress.

5. instructional materials development with emphasis on investigator like research.

6. competent on non-teaching support staff with a high degree of commitment, concern and loyalty.

7. strong linkage and support of parents, the community, the GO's and NGO's.
